Xbox X019 | Announcements from Microsoft’s UK Event

Microsoft held its annual Inside Xbox Event in the United Kingdom which consisted of new game announcements and gameplay, Xbox Game Pass news, interviews, and so much more.

Rare, the developer behind Sea of Thieves announced a brand new IP called EVERWILD, which is being described as a “unique and unforgettable experience awaiting in a natural and magical world”.

Obsidian Entertainment also gave a glimpse at Grounded, their new survival game with a small twist. It’s been confirmed to come out in Spring 2020 and will also release on Xbox Game Pass for Xbox One and PC.

We get a look at West of Dead, developed by Upstream Arcade and published by Raw Fury. The game is described as a “twin-stick shooter” taking place in Purgatory starring William Mason, a bandit voiced by Ron Perlman. The beta for the game is available now through November 25th and is confirmed to release in 2020 on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch and will also be on Xbox Game Pass.

Going back to Rare, there’s another update for Sea of Thieves called The Seabound Soul featuring a new story and new weapons such as Firebombs coming November 20th.

KartRider: Drift is a free-to-play kart racing game with the usual deep kart and character customization which is being described as an arcade feel, it will be released in 2020 coming First on Xbox.

We get another look at Ninja Theory’s 4v4 team brawler, Bleeding Edge. This trailer shows off the Character Designs and announces a release date of March 24th, 2020 coming to Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Game Pass. If you Pre-Order the game, you will get access to the Closed Betas on February 14th and March 13th.

DONTNOD Entertainment, the developer of the Life is Strange series have announced a narrative adventure game, Tell Me Why coming in Summer 2020. The game is set in Alaska, where twins Tyler and Alyson use their special bond to unravel mysteries of their childhood.

We get a look at The Artful Escape where Francis Vendetti, a teenage guitar prodigy goes on a psychedelic, multidimensional journey to inspire his stage persona, the game is set to come out in 2020.

We get a franchise return with Age of Empires IV gameplay, developed by Relic Entertainment.

Minecraft Dungeons has also got a release date of April 2020, coming to Consoles and PC.

Project xCloud will have 50+ games for its preview and will come to PC, it will work on Bluetooth Controllers including the DualShock 4.

Xbox announced tons of new games coming to Xbox Game Pass today, this holiday, and in 2020 including the likes of Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and Yakuza.
