It seems as though the patents for the DualShock 5 have gone up in Japan earlier today. The DualShock 5 was previously described as being very similar to the DualShock 4, these patents pretty much confirm that.
The DualShock 5 images above shows off larger triggers, slightly smaller sticks, a USB port and there seems to be no light bar. The New Controller is going to have adaptive triggers, USBC Charging, an improved speaker and many more improvements. We knew most of these new features because of an article from Wired last month, now we have a more in-depth look at what the Controller changes will most likely look like.
The Next Generation is approaching rapidly and it’s time for everyone to get ready for the long sprint until Holiday 2020.
