The Nintendo Switch was released over 2 years ago and has been a massive success. The Console has sold over 40 million units worldwide since its release. The support of the console has been great with great indie title support and first-party releases with games such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario Maker 2, and the recently released Luigi’s Mansion 3.
It released all over the world, but one who had to wait for a while was China. Their wait is over as Nintendo announced in a press release, the console is coming in just under a week on December 10th, 2019.

This is to notify that Tencent Holdings Limited (HQ: Shenzhen, China), with which Nintendo Co., Ltd. has entered into sales representative agreement for the Chinese market, announced today in China that they will release Nintendo Switch on December 10, 2019 at the suggested retail price of 2,099 yuan RMB.
The overall sales of the Switch in China is going to be a really interesting development. It could either be a huge success for Nintendo or anywhere between average to mediocre in terms of sales. Whatever happens, this announced means more people get to play one of my personal favorite consoles of the last couple of game generations.
