In the last week games such as Cyberpunk 2077, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Marvel’s Avengers and so many other games have been delayed. The likelihood of more delays was high and the likelihood has officially become a reality.
The Twitter Account of Dying Light 2 officially announced the news of the delay from Sprint 2020 to the foreseeable future with a letter from Techland CEO, Pawel Marchewka.
The trend of video game delays is becoming a trend this past week and in most of the announcements, the main reason for the delays has been a need for more polish. It seemed like April and May were going to be busy months for the gaming industry but this past week has pretty much moved that busy time to the Fall.
Dying Light 2 is now set for a 2020 release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
