Undead Labs have definitely made their name off of the State of Decay games. The State of Decay franchise is an open-world zombie survival experience. It’s not as well known as other Microsoft exclusives such as Halo but the franchise definitely has its fanbase.
Undead Labs have been quiet on their next project since the release of State of Decay 2 back in May of 2018. They’re quiet no longer, at the Xbox Games Showcase, they’ve announced their third experience in the zombie survival genre with State of Decay 3 in a very brief announcement trailer.
State of Decay 3 is set for release on the Xbox Series X & PC.
