
Nintendo sure knows how to drop a massive announcement out of nowhere on everyone. It’s been 35 years since the release of the first Super Mario Bros. game was released. To commemorate the occasion, Nintendo dropped an Anniversary Direct with announcements on upcoming Super Mario games and products that are all set to release before Spring 2021.
The full Direct is up on Youtube and there’s one specific announcement from that Direct that’s going to excite so many. Towards the end of the Direct, Nintendo officially announced the impending release of Super Mario 3D All-Stars, a collection of three 3D Super Mario Games. The games included are Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy.
All three games will have a higher resolution, optimized aspect ratio, and the soundtrack from each game will be available to browse through. The game is set to arrive on September 18th and Nintendo has also noted that “Super Mario 3D All-Stars will be available as a limited-run retail edition and a digital edition that is available for a limited time until the end of March 2021.”
