Kena: Bridge of Spirits is by far one of the most anticipated games for a lot of people. From its first trailer at the PlayStation 5 reveal event, I was instantly hooked. The look of the game from the art style to the graphics was all the ingredients Ember Lab needed to build hype for their first-ever game.
Originally set to come out in Holiday 2020, Kena: Bridge of Spirits has officially been delayed to Q1 2021. The developer, Ember Lab cites slower development due to working from home transitions as the reason for the delay. Ember Lab announced the news via their Twitter.
This delay is definitely unfortunate for Ember Lab and many including me that was looking forward to playing Kena later this year. At the same time, Ember Lab should take all the time they need to ensure Kena: Bridge of Spirits is up to par with their vision.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits is set for release in Q1 2021 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.
