After months of waiting on Sony’s part for further details on the PlayStation 5, we’ve finally gotten the info we’ve wanted. At the PlayStation 5 showcase, Sony announced the pricing and release date of the PlayStation 5/PlayStation 5 Digital Edition.
The PlayStation 5 is set to launch at $499 while the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition is set to launch for $399. Both Consoles are set to release on November 12 in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea. It will release November 19th to the rest of the world.
As of this moment, no pre-order date has been announced.
