
Take-Two Interactive is the parent company of video game publishers such as Rockstar Games & 2K. Take-Two doesn’t own many publishers but what they do own is significant and they are adding to that lineup as of today.
Codemasters is a video game developer set in the UK, whose most notable for their work in the racing genre with the F1 and Dirt series. Codemasters recently one of their big titles in Dirt 5 for Consoles & PC, and it looks like that’ll be the last game they make as a completely independent studio.
A deal has been nearly finalized for Take-Two Interactive to purchase Codemasters. The official announcement came in the form of a press release from Take-Two Interactive, along with a statement from Chairman & CEO of Take-Two, Strauss Zelnick.
