Outriders is a primary single-player RPG-Shooter that has received a multitude of content updates in the past few months including one at The Game Awards. The game was originally set for a February 2nd, 2021 release but that release date is officially no more.
Outriders is now set for release on April 1st, 2021 as announced by the Outriders team on Social Media.
The reason for this delay comes from the developer of Outriders, People Can Fly wanting more time to polish the game. Along with the delay announcement also came the announcement of a free demo.
On February 25th, 2021, a free demo for Outriders will be pushed out that will give players the ability to play through the first couple of hours of the game with all classes available to use. Your progress from the demo will transfer over to the full experience in April. This New IP is a big juncture for Square Enix and especially People Can Fly and it’s clear they want to make sure the launch goes off without a hitch.
Outriders is set for release on April 1st, 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Google Stadia, & PC.
