This has been a newsworthy day for those that are anticipating The Last of Us HBO series. It now seems as though we have the actors that are going to portray Joel & Ellie in the upcoming adaptation.
Joel will be portrayed by Pedro Pascal known for his roles in the fantasy show, Game of Thrones, the Netflix biographical crime series, Narcos, and The Mandalorian.
Ellie will be portrayed by Bella Ramsey, also known for her role as Lyanna Mormont in Game of Thrones.
The news was broken by both Deadline & The Hollywood Reporter respectively. As of this time, no Ine knows when The Last of Us HBO series will release, as far as we know, filming has no set release yet.
The Last of Us franchise was a big talking point last year due to the divisive nature of The Last of Us Part II. This series, while it has no release date and probably won’t for a while is sure to be of interest to a lot of people.
