Square Enix has announced a digital showcase event that will include updates to existing games and upcoming games. The presentation is set to take place on March 18th, Square Enix released a press release for the news which you can read below.
SQUARE ENIX® today announced the debut of a new video program called SQUARE ENIX PRESENTS, a series of shows in which the company will reveal new games, updates and news directly to the global gaming community throughout the year. The first show, debuting on March 18 at 10:00 a.m. PDT / 1:00 p.m. EDT on Square Enix’s official Twitch and YouTube channels, will run approximately 40-minutes and include the world premiere of the next game in the critically acclaimed and award-winning Life is Strange™ series, featuring an all-new protagonist wielding an exciting new power.

The big one there is that we will have a look at the next installment in the Life Is Strange series. Life Is Strange has received two games since its inception and now a third one is on the way. It’s not known whether or not the developer of recent Life is Strange games, DONTNOD Entertainment will be developing this game at this moment.
Other games that are set to receive announcements on the showcase event are:
- Outriders
- Balan Wonderworld
- Marvel’s Avengers
- Just Cause Mobile
- A look at a few of the whimsical games from Square Enix sister company TAITO
- Mobile Game Announcements from Square Enix Montréal Studio
- Ongoing Celebration for the 25th anniversary of Tomb Raider
This has been announced to be a series of shows, so it’s likely we’ll see one of these once every month for a little while.
