Horizon Forbidden West is by far one of the most anticipated games coming to PlayStation. It was first announced at the PlayStation 5 reveal event in June of 2020 and since then we’ve seen nothing new, until now.
Sony held a State of Play showcase that saw Horizon Forbidden West gameplay captured on PlayStation 5. To say the gameplay looked stunning would be an understatement. In the gameplay reveal we took an in-depth look at visuals, combat, and we got some info on the narrative from the devs at Guerrilla themselves.
A separate post was released on the PlayStation Blog detailing more info on certain mechanics. As for a release date, Narrative Director at Guerrilla Games, Ben McCaw has said “we don’t have an exact release date yet, but development is on track and we’ll have an update for you very soon.”
Horizon Forbidden West is set for release on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 at an unknown date.
