Far Cry 6 Gets Worldwide Gameplay Reveal; Game Set For Release In October 2021

Far Cry 6 was revealed to the world nearly a year ago. Since then we’ve seen nothing new from the game. The game was delayed indefinitely sometime ago and Ubisoft has been quiet in regards to when we’d see something new, until recently.

Far Cry 6 is set in Yara, a tropical paradise frozen in time in the heart of the Caribbean, players will experience the adrenaline rush and chaos of guerrilla combat as they join the revolution to liberate Yaran people from the oppressive rule of dictator Antón Castillo and his teenage son Diego. You play as Dani to take down the militia, who will be customizable by the player between a man or a woman. According to Ubisoft, you’ll meet a dynamic cast of characters along the way who will contribute to your journey in some way.

Ubisoft has released an official gameplay video that shows off the world and mechanics of Far Cry 6. You’ll be able to experience this expedition solo or in a two-player co-op. There will be customizable weapons and tools as well as traversal in the form of horses, tanks, and so DIY creations. You can watch the worldwide gameplay reveal below.

Far Cry 6 is set for release on October 7, 2021, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Google Stadia, Amazon Luna, & PC.
