Nintendo has officially revealed details about their upcoming E3 presence. We’ve known for while that there would be a presentation from Nintendo but when it would be was a complete mystery up until now. Nintendo will showcase a live Nintendo Direct on June 15 at 9AM PT/12PM ET.
The Direct will be somewhere around 40 minutes in length and will focus exclusively on Nintendo Switch software, most of which are expected to release in 2021. After the Direct, there will be a 3 hour deep dive from Nintendo Treehouse guests into select games that have yet to be revealed.
One thing that stands out is that this Nintendo Direct is seemingly focused on games coming to the Nintendo Switch and will have absolutely nothing new to show in terms of hardware. It seems that the long-rumored Switch Pro might not be revealed at this event and instead will be saved for another time.
One has to also wonder what games we’ll see from Nintendo. We’ll probably get one last look at upcoming releases such as Mario Golf: Super Rush and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD. There’s also a chance we’ll see a look at the highly anticipated sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild ever since its initial reveal nearly 2 years ago. The good thing is we don’t have to wait long to find out, as the Nintendo Direct is in just under two weeks.
