Battlefield 2042 is one of the 3 big FPS games releasing this year along with Halo Infinite and Call of Duty: Vanguard. If social media metrics are any indication all signs point to Battlefield 2042 being an enormous title for DICE and EA.
The game was originally set for a release this year on October 22. Staff Writer & Reporter for GamesBeat, Jeff Grubb recently mentioned that a big game would be receiving a delay this week and he was correct. Battlefield 2043 has officially been delayed to November 19, 2021 with the reason stated being that is extra time needed to deliver a vision that meets standards.
It was also mentioned at the end of the delay announcement that updates on the Open Beta will be given later this month.
Battlefield 2042 is set for release on November 19, 2021 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, & PC.
