Bully is one of those games that has attained a cult-like status over the years. It’s also a game that plenty have wanted a sequel for since its original release in 2006. Over the years, we’ve heard from many reputable sources that Bully 2 has been in development at Rockstar at certain points but it’s been a stop and start situation for the most part.
Rockstar Games’ priority over the past few years has been towards some of their biggest franchises such as Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption. A sequel to Bully has seemed like it may never come until today that is.
According to reputable source, Tom Henderson, Bully 2 was supposed to be shown at The Game Awards that took place last week and there was even a playable version seen by multiple people just a few weeks ago.
Tom has a good track record and with Rockstar being as big and secretive as they are, it’s not far-fetched to think that before we get the inevitable Grand Theft Auto 6, we’ll finally get the sequel that so many have been clamoring for and it’s being kept under tight wraps. Tom has declared there is definitely something “going on” with the Bully series, so it’s likely we may get a reveal relatively soon.
