Nintendo released the Nintendo Switch almost 5 years ago in March of 2017. The console can be seen as nothing short of a success for Nintendo in terms of hardware and software performance. First-party titles such as Super Mario Odyssey, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild have sold millions worldwide and now the system has another achievement to its name.
Nintendo Switch has officially surpassed 100 million units sold worldwide. The news comes from Nintendo’s recent earnings report. This officially makes it the 5th best-selling console of all time and it’s only going to go up as time goes on. Who knows what the unit sales will be for the Switch in its entire lifetime.
