2K’s Social Media Accounts Hacked

2K has suffered a major breach in their Social Media Security. Multiple of 2K’s Accounts over Twitter and Facebook have been hacked and have had lots of wandering comments posted on it, some of which can be seen above.

Facebook is the one with the most problems as 2K’s main page, the WWE 2K page, the Borderlands page, and many more pages were hacked. There was a back and forth profile picture changing struggle from the Hacker and the WWE 2K Social Team Members. It seems really insane that most if not all of 2K’s Accounts were hacked at once. It’s definitely going to raise a lot of questions about their security which for sure will be fortified after this incident.

2K has released a statement on the Account Hackings just under an hour ago.

We are aware that social media accounts across the 2K label have been compromised and offensive material is being posted that does not reflect the values of 2K or our partners. We are actively working to fix this as soon as possible.

This entire situation can be labeled by one word, disaster.
