Fans have been clamoring for another Fable game for a while. Ever since the developer (Lionhead Studios) for the Fable games shut down back in 2016, many have wanted Microsoft to put the task of making a new Fable to another developer. After what seems like a multitude of leaks and waiting, Microsoft has given everyone their wish.
As is tradition with most video game presentations, there’s always that one last thing, and this time that turned out to be a new Fable. At the end of the Xbox Games Showcase, an extremely brief announcement trailer was shown for Fable.
The game will be developed by Playground Games which Microsoft acquired back in 2018. A release date is not known at this time, but most would guess the game is probably a lost cause for this year and 2021 given how little was shown.
Fable is set for release on Xbox Series X & PC
